This study, authored by Dr. Cecilia Straw, Dr. Victoria Sánchez Antelo, Dr. Racquel Kohler, Dr. Melisa Paolino, Dr. Kasisomayajula Viswanath and Dr. Silvina Arrossi, shows the high acceptability and positive evaluation by health professionals and decision-makers of the ATICA strategy to increase adherence to triage of HPV-positive women, as well as the barriers to its implementation.
This evidence is fundamental for the future scaling up of the ATICA strategy not only for Argentina, but also for low- and middle-income countries that are considering using e-health interventions to improve the process of cervical cancer screening, follow-up and treatment.
